Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Barpeta has started working in 2003 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2023 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

New building of Vidyalaya is situated on Barpeta Town , near Barpeta College. Vidyalaya is about 20 KM from Barpeta Railway Station.
