INTRODUCTION
The Compensation of Academic Loss Programme (CALP) is an initiative aimed at mitigating the
educational disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances such as the COVID-19 pandemic,
natural disasters, or other emergencies. These disruptions can result in significant academic setbacks
for students, necessitating targeted interventions to ensure they can catch up and continue their
education effectively.
OBJECTIVES
The primary objectives of CALP include:
- Bridging Learning Gaps: To identify and address gapsin students’ knowledge and skills caused by
missed instructional time. - Ensuring Continuity of Learning: To provide continuous learning opportunities through alternative
methods, including remote and hybrid learning. - Supporting Educators: To equip teachers with the necessary tools and strategiesto address
